What is Wickedness

​

is it wickedness

to take

from one

who hasn’t learned

when not to give?

 

perhaps it is

the fault of the meek

for being meek,

giving all

and taking little

handing over

their last morsel of food

to those already full –

giving all

to those content

with them starving

 

sheep

guarded by dogs

eaten by dogs

 

flock guardians

with eyes

looking all around

 

wolves

with teeth

dripping with blood

 

neither evil

nor pure

both just beings

following their nature
